SLY GROG SELLING.

Telegraph Press Association Copyright : ' Dunedin, July 22. A raid was made by the police in Balclutha on two houses suspected of sly grog selling v ln> the Criterion Temperance Hotel) carried on by David Jones, some sis bottles of beec and one of whisky were found, o£ which possession was taken. The names, of a number of men in the house were taken. A visit was then paid to a store kept by Henry Vezey, formerly of the Railway Jlotel, where a quantity of beer, whisky* etc., was taken possession of. Prosecutions/ are to follow.
