THE UNEMPLOYED.
m Telegraph. Press Association. Copyright Dunedin, April 15. The City members have telegraphed to the Minister of Public Works that the 13 men selected as the quota to work on the Otago Central Railway is totally out of proportion to the number requiring work. If 40 more are sanctioned, it would meet urgent necessities. Considering that only 120 are at work on the line, the instructions might be issued at once to employ the number asked for.
