Results : — Doubles — Fourth Round : Buick and Kebblewhite 18 beat Sinclair and Austin 17.. Fifth Round: — Morris and McLaren 11 beat Buick and Kebblewhite 7. Final : This leaves Maddison and Wanklyn $o pjav McLaren and Morris for the final. Singles — First Round : Bun^ng 17 beat W V Parsons 4, J AY Smith i* b,eat Saywell 11, F Smith 12 beat Sandii&nds 8, J Bennie 11 beat H J Raphael 4. Second Round : F Grenfell 10 beat Bunting 9, D Fergusson 11 beat W Wyllie 8.
Third Round : Bonnie 13 beat Lam - bie9. Fourth Round : Bennie 13 beat Hamilton 11. Fifth Round : Bennie 11 beat Erskine 9. Sixth Round: Brightwell 18 beat Underwood 11, Maddjspn and Bennie still to play to complete tbe round. The Inter-Island fixture to-day will consist of three games. Paul (New Plymouth) is captain of the North Island, and Raphael (Christchurch) of the South Island inHAu. (From a Correspondent.) Christchurch, This Day. In the North v. South Island Championship Matches Feiltling scored 31, beating Timaru who only scored 18.
