During two recent Saturdays one hun dred boys took to the Wattuafce County office 54,450 small birds' eggs. A special sale of drapery is advertised to-day. The Oddfellows' Lodge will meet tomorrow evening. At a meeting in Wellington last night it was decided to form an association for the maintainance of social intercourse between old residents of the Canterbury provincial district. Arrangements are being made by the Government to brin^ into the market the lands of the Midlands Railway. The authorised area is sis million acres in all. The parly part vi next month Feilding will be visited by a lady, Mrs Towler, of Duuedin, who is a Specialist in the Colonial World of Medicine, and is becoming ;very widely known for her great Mansavita (" Water of Life ") Remedies. Tbe remedies are stocked by chunis's, but Mrs Towler is desirous of personally meetiug patient?, hence her journeying from home, and her visit to Feilding. She stays here for a few dajs only, and may be consulted at Mrs F.
