N. Z. Rifle Association.
Lieut. -Colonel Sommerville, Chairman of the New Zealand Rifle Association, has issued a circular setting put that any volunteer corps pr rifle club can affiliate with the New Zealand Rifle Association under the following conditions ; — 1, That the rifle club has been duly formed, has a captain and secretary, and not less than 20 members. 2. That the corps or club has at least one rifle competition during the month, and that the scores of each member shooting are carefully recorded. 8. That the corps or club is prepared to send at least one member, wbo shall be tbe winner qi the annual' bronze medal of the Association, to the annual meeting of the N.Z, Rifle Association. 4 That the corps er club pay £2 annually to the Association as an affiliation* fee. 5 The Association on its part agree to issue the bronze medal of the Association annually to the corps or club
affiliating. 6 That the Association wishes this medal tp be competed for at 500 yards range, ten shots, and not less than three competitions, at intervfils; tihe highest aggregate' score*, to be tbe "Winner, 7 TJSe winner of the bronze medal will receive from the Association a free annual subscription enabling him to shoot at the prize meeting in all matches, and will be allowed to compete in a special match on the programme called the f* Bronze Medal Match," open only to -winners of bronze medals. Bronze medals can be obtained at any time on application.
