DEATH OF ANOTHER NEW ZEALANDER.
Wellington, This Day. Sir A. Milner cables that Trooper Cameron, of Martmborough, Wairarapa, died at Lindley pf enteric fever on the 2nd inst. As his name does not appear on the official lists of the New Zealand contingents, the authorities assume the deceased must have joined one of the corps formed in South Africa. At the request of tbe Reception Committee in Dunedin the Acting-Premier bas cabled to the Imperial Transport Officer asking that the Orient with the returned troopers should be timed to arrive at Port Chalmers at 4 a.m. next Tuesday. Tbe Agent-General cabled as follows to tbe Acting -Premier: "Our Colonial Office informs ns that the War Office has recommended the Admiralty to arrange for an extension of the visit of the Imperial troops from Australia to New Zealand." VOLUNTEERS FOR THE FRONT. Sydney, This Day. Applications for enrollment in the next contingent for South Africa are coming in freely from the various States.
