Telegraph Press Association Copyright. Wanganui, March 12. At the annual meeting of shareholders of the United Press Association held here on Friday there was a large attendance representing all the leading papers in the colony. The report and balance sheet was adopted. Messrs J. L. Wilson and L. Blundell the retiring directors were re elected. Reference was made to the death of the late chairman of the Association, Mr J. S. Guthrie, of the Christr-burch Press, and a resolution of condolence passed by the shareholders. The vacancy thus caused on the directorate has been filled by the appointment of Mr J. C. Wilkin of Christchurch. Mr L. Blundell of Wellington was elected chairman for the ensuing year. The members of the Association went op the river to Pipiriki yesterday aud return to-day.
