Telegraph. Press Association. Copyright Sydnkv, This Day. At the inquest on Captain Little, Mr Nell, engineer, gave evidence that the captain was pretty far gone in drink. He was very obstinate and refused to be advised. He attributed the disaster to erraiic steering. There was other evidence to a similar effect. December 17, Sir Joseph Abbot, Speaker of the Leg> islative Assembly, will sail for New Zealand on Monday for the benefit of his health.
