NOTICE it hereby <jiven that the following Special Order was adopted at a meeting of the Manchester Road Board on Saturday, 6th March, 1897, and that it is proposed to confirm the same at a Special Meeting to be held on the Brd day of April, 1897 :- That this Board, under tbe provisions of " The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," and under or by virtue of a Warrant issued under tbe band of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, dated the 2nd day of January, 1890, authorising the Rangitikei County Council to charge the Manchester Road Board with one-third share of cost of managing and maintaining tbe Onepuhi Bridge over the Rangitikei River at Onepuhi, te borrow a further sum of £300 for the purpose of providing share of cost of repairing the said bridge in accordance with the above mentioned warrant, and that a Special Rate of one hundred and fiftieth part of a penny in the £ be hereby made upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown and Native land excepted) within the Manchester Road District for the purpose of providing interest on the above Loan of £300, to be borrowed under "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," such rate to be annually recurring for 26 years, and payable in equal half-yearly instalments on the Ist days of April and October in each year.
