Polo Tournament.
POSTPONED TILL WEDNESDAY. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, March 8. The opening of the Polo Association tournament b»s been postponed till Wednetdtv afternoon. Nine or ten teams will take part, and 100 ponies are engaged. The visitor* have all arrived to-day. The several teams were engaged in practice at Hnnter's and Nolan's paddock. The result of tbe drawing for the Seville Cup wae as follows : — Auckland let, Oroua 2, Christchnrch 3, Rangitikei 4, Manawatu 6. The winner of the first match will (hue meet Christohurch on Thursday the second day previous to the Bangi-. tikei— Manawatu game. Tbe match for the Junior Cup will be played immediately after the Anekland-Oroue match on Wednesday. The drawing was conducted under the supervision of Colonel Dawson, President of the Association.
