TO THK EDITOR OF THE STAK. Sir— Can you explain why I should have to put the name of " Fowlers " on letters despatched to " Birmingham." If it is on account of a former post master why not call the place Fowlers, and drop Birmingham. If you want a post office order sent you, and only direct it to be sent to Birmingham, you have to journey down to Feilding to get it cashed, because the post office people do not know such a place as '• Birmingham " exists.
