Wedding Bells

On Tuesday last the marriage was solemnised in St John's Church, Feilding, by the Rev A. Hermon, of Mr Frank Herbert Cooke, (of the firm of Messrs Baker and Cooke, barristers and solicitors, Palmerston North), to Miss Alice Maria, eldest daughter of Dr F. A. Monckton, J.P., of Feilding. Although it was intended the happy event should be quite private, and notifications were only sent to relatives and connections, yet the church was crowded with well-wishers, who had assembled to testify by their presence tbe estimation in which the high contracting parties \yere held by their many friends in Feilding. Miss Ejla Beatrice Monckton was the only bridesmaid, while Mv Whitmore Monckton officiated as best man. We have great pleasure in wishing the newly married couple long life and much happiness.
