Great Northern Foal Stakes — Roie, Lebel, Rosefeldt, Workman, Brown Bess, Brigand. Great Northern Derby — Leolantis, Medallion, St Andrew, Crackshot, Reprisal, Vendetta, Kapo. Auckland Steeplechase — Hopeful, Silvo, Jenny, Takapu, Parnell Sentinel, Hune, Kate, Sir Garnet, Orlando, and Asper. Christchubch. December 11. . The racehorses Crackshot, Lebel, Dudu, St. Malo, Medallion, and Bay King were shipped for Auckland by the Tarawera to-day. Auckland. December 11. Hilda has been backed for the Auckland Cup at 3 to 1, and Crackshot and Medallion at 5 to 1. Asper has arrived from Wanganui to fulfil his engagemenl hi the Auckland Steeplechase. Dr Ross, formerly of Canterbury,; has arrived from San Francisco, and it if said he intend-* to buy some of the Sylvia Park stock for America when they art offered in January next. December 12.
