This accomplished lady played to an excellent audience. The performance consists of a series of rapid cnanges from one character to another, and in order to jjlvo connection to the characters a little plot is arranged. The scene opens in au artist's studio mnd Mr Honnossy is mi Irfth footman, whose " most .excellent foolkn" is one of the best features in tJie show. Without exception tho whole of the disguises were remarkably .good, and tho rapidity with which the changes are made is very striking. The elaboration of the character of the Duchesu ot Devonshire makes it a masterpiece, of which tfie zuilliuerjr wealth is a mam feature. The favorite character of "Jo" was spoiled by the unexpected laughter of an unsympathetic larrikin ia the back part of the hall. Miss Smithsoa brought the representation to a sudden close and administered a well-deserved reproof to the offender.
