Some runs have been almost denuded of their flocks, aud there must necessarily be a larjre demand for stock to replace them. Prices will therefore rule high for some time to come in the Sydney narkets for meat for consumption, since our ordinary sources of supply have been literally dried up. Now is the time, then, for New Z alund to come to the re*cue of her sister colony and at the same time benefit herself. Her* prime New Zpaland mutton would probably find a ready wile an<i appreciative buyers, both wholesale and retail.
