The Lyell Murder Case.

♦ As reported in our telegraphic news on Tuesday, this case was opened on Monday last, at the Supreme Court at Nelson. Mrs Grammatica was examined at great length. She alleged that at the inquest she feared to tell the whole facts, but that she had made a clean breast of the affair now. She says Davidson stabbed Quinlan, and she bandaged up the wound. Next morning on asking for Quinlan, Davidson said ho had taken his heart's blood, and at night while fas* tened in her bedroom she heard Davidson drag the body out of the house.
