ANOTHER REJOINDER.
TO THE EWf'B
Sir, — Will you kindly allow me space in your columns in reference to Mr Henry Rutherford's letter. He wishes to kaow how it is other people can run horses, ducks, geese, &c, afc large. Well, Sir, I was surprised to see such an article in the paper from one who supported the byelaws of the Borough, especially considering that in the mat er of the law he was the first agressor, and was fined for allowing his own horses to wander at large on other people's pasluie land. But as he has taken the subject so warmly to heart about me, I would strongly recommend that he would make a very energetic ranger, as well as an energetic Councillor. By this means he would be able to carry a basket for the purpose of taking ducks, geese, and fowls into custody. I feel certain the public will not notice hi* remarks. — I am, etc.,
E. B. GICHABD,
