PRESENTATION

MISS ENID BAKALICH HONOURED DEPARTURE FROM TUAKAU Miss Enid Bakalich, another of Tuakau’s popular young ladies, who is leaving shortly to take up the noble profession of nursing, was the recipient of a small presentation from the Tuakau ladies’ old-time dance committee. at their dance held in the Oddfellows’ hall on Friday evening last. The president. Mrs J. Corrick, in making the presentation, said that Miss Bakalich had rendered valuable assistance to the committee in painting colourful and artistic posters for special functions —assistance the committee deeply appreciated. The gift was a token of appreciation, and esteem the members had for her. Mrs Corrick wished Miss Bakalich every success and happiness in her new sphere. The gathering rose and sang “For She's a Jolly Good Fellow.”
