COMING-OF-AGE
PARTY AT TUAKAU MR BUB, ITUBXETT ENTERTAINED A mosl enjoyable party was tendered by Mr and Mrs F. Burnett at their home in‘Jellicoe Avenue, Tuakau. recently, in honour of the 21st birthday of their son, Bob. There was a good attendance of friends and a. pleasant evening was whiled away in dancing. An appreciated vocal number was given by Miss Ada Greensmith. of Auckland. A dainty supper enhanced the enjoyment of tiie evening, during which Mr Burnett proposed the toast of his son and presented him with (lie key of ihe door. Bob appropriately replied. A wide range of birthday gifts were later opened and displayed, the recipient expressing It is grateful thanks for the presents and the felicitations conveyed. He also thanked his parents for arranging the party. A delightful evening terminated by the company singing “A Perfect Day,” “Auld Lang Syne” and the National Anthem.
