The Palumahoe school reports that during the week ending 9 a.in. yesterday 1.06 inches of rain had fallen in the district. Holiday Notice. Anzac Day will he observed as a close holiday in all branches of the Pukekohe Post Oflice with the exception of the tele-phone exchange wherein the attendance will be continuous as usual. Cablegram to Members of N.Z.E.F. The Postmaster at Pukekohe, Mr G. R 0. Mulholland, advises: Commencing, forthwith the addresses on cablegrams to members of the N.Z.E.F. are to be charged for as four words irrespective of the number of words contained therein, plus one word for the indicators “L.C.” or “D.L.T.” if these rates apply.
