RIFLE SHOOTING
CLEVEDON DEFENCE CLUB CONTEST FOR No. G TROPHY Members of the Clevedon Defence I’ifle Club concluded its shoot for the No. 6 trophy last Saturday at the 500 yards and GOO yards ranges. The weather was fine but there was a gusty cross-wind. The shooting generally was of a high standard and greatly improved as a result of coaching by Mr J. W. Morris, a prominent Australian shot. The trophy went to K 11. Munro while the Tisdall button and silver spoon were awarded to N. L. Munro. Trophy points were allotted as follows: H. 11. Munro i, N. L. Munro •'!, <.. Kimpton 2, T. N.
