PAPAKURA CLUB’S OPENING PERFORMED BY MR E. D. MCLENNAN ■Under ideal weather conditions and a large attendance of members and visitors from - neighbouring clubs the Papakura Golf Club opened its season on Saturday afternoon. The patron, Mi E.' D. McLennan, in declaring the links Open,- wished the club another successful season. Mixed foursomes were played, the winners being l ®. S. Vartan and Miss M: Kidd" with a net score of 33. The rifnners-up were J. S. Whyte and Mrs Whyte with a card of 34.
