Mrs S. J. Me I Irby and her daughters, the Misses Doreen and Esina, of Mangatuw’hiri, have returned home after a visit to the Capital City. Mr W. A. Peterson, of Bombay, left, yesterday for Wellington. While in the Capital City he will visit the Centennial Exhibition. Mr Allan Saunders, son of Mr Cyril Saunders of Glenbrook, who recently underwent an operation in Urn Auckland hospital for appendicitis, is making favourable progress toward recovery. Messrs .1. Hair, R. Cows and Brewster. who are serving in IPs jesty's Forces at llopuliopu. amt Messrs S. Carter and Rouse, who are in camp at Papakura. spent the weekend at their homes in Tuakau.
