OBITUARY

MISS LYDIA FIELDING WELL-KNOWN DRURY RESIDENT fi’lie death occurred in Auckland, after a long illness, of Miss Lydia Fielding, of Drury, at the age of 50 years. Miss Fielding was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Sydney Fielding who came lo Drury about, sixty years ago and took up farming in the district.. She was a keen supporter of Ihe Anglican Church and was wellknown for tier generous assistance In those less fortunate than herself. ; ; Miss Fielding is survived by her two brothers. Messrs E. and A. Fielding. of Drury. The interment look place at the Drury Anglican cemetery on Monday afternoon, the service at the graveside being conducted by the Rev. H. Sinclair.
