SUCCESSFUL “BRING AND BUY” AT MRS SUTHERLAND’S HOME A successful “bring and buy” garden party was held at the home of Mrs N. J. Sutherland recently by the Women’s Division of the Farmers' Union. Owing to the unsettled and boisterous weather the stalls were erected in the house. Fortunately the rain kept off and enabled competitions to be held on the lawns. The winners were: Grazv golf, Mrs F. Stephens: clock golf. Mrs (fryers: darts, Mrs .1. Alexander: weight of cake. Mrs I. .tones: name of dog (Micky). Mrs 11. drum. The attendance was good and the takings amounted to over 11
