HOMAI-MANUREWA BRANCH FEBRUARY MEETING There was a fair attendance at the February meeting of the Homai-Manu-rewa Women’s Institute, the first of the year. The roll-call, “A Holiday Thrill,” proved very popular. The competition, “An adult dress to cost not more than five shillings,” was won by Mrs Smithson. Mrs Sheldon and Mrs Seymour demonstrated pineneedle basket-making and papiermache work respectively.
