GLENBROOK NOTES FIRST AID CERTIFICATES PR ESENT AT lONS MADE There was an excellent attendance at a social evening in the Glenbrook hall recently, when the presentation of certificates was made to members of the Glenbrook first aid class. Dancing, cards, games and items contributed to a very pleasant evening. Music was provided by Mr Donnelly and solos were sung by Mrs K. Finlay and Mrs J. Page. Mrs McDougall of Waiuku. also contributed a recitation. Mr I. Gearon carried out the duties of master of ceremonies. The superintendent of the Pukekohe St. John Ambulance. Mr R. Sarah, presented the first aid certificates to those successful in recent examinations. Mr and Mrs E. Landon, who had given Ihe lectures to the class, were present and Mrs Landon was presented, wi tli a posy by Mrs Gearon. Mrs Landon was also the recipient of a crystal vase, Mr I. Gearon making the presentation. Funds of the St. John Ambulance benefited as a result of a most successful evening.
