The truth is that less than half this sum will furnish over ‘.Hi per cent of the pupils with I heir hook requirements. •‘The headmaster and staff make the fullest use of good second-hand hooks and opportunity is given every pupil to buy a few hooks of this kind to save their parents expense. If the parents of Pukekohe and surrounding districts give 111 eschool reasonable support we will he able to retain the present staff throughout the year." Mr Munro concluded.
