CLEVEDON DISPERSAL SALE A successful dispersal sale was conducted by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited at New Valley Road, Glevedon, on account of Mr Norman Kent, who has sold his farm. Bidding was keen for the best dairy cattle, the herd of 34 averaging £B. Quotations were: Best dairy cows in milk made up to £l3; good, £8 15s to £lO 15s: poorer quality, £5 10s to £G 17s 6d; 18-month in-calf Jersey heifers, to £5; yearling heifers to £3 4s; Tamworth sows due to farrow. £3 10s to £4 12s Gd.

PAPAKURA MIXED SALE SPRINGING HEIFERS TO £lO 5s There was only a small yarding of dairy cattle at Friday’s Papakura sale conducted by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited. A very good enquiry was received for dairy cows and heifers at prolit. Local and town supply buyers were very active. Boner cattle sold at satisfactory prices. Heavy cows made up to £4_ 14s.
