TUAKAU PRESBYTERIANS AN ENJOYABLE SOCIAL The Tuakau Presbyterian congregation held a successful social recently. There was a good attendance and all spent an enjoyable I ime. Hems were given by the following: Vocal solos, Ernest Asher and Desiree Gates; pianoforte and accordeon numbers, Miss Bessie Holland and Mr Bruce Dower respectively: cornet solo. Ernest Asher. A blindfold drawing compelition was won by .Miss E. Bakalicli. Gonmnmily singing was well responded In, the accompaniment being played by Miss Bessie Holland. Ai Ihe conclusion of Hie programme Mrs R. .1. Currie, on behalf of the basketball club, presented Mr Bruce Gower with a travelling outfit in recognition of 1 1 is services to the dull during the season. Mr Gower suitably replied. Supper was served by Ihe ladies of the guild. The singing
of “Auld Lang Syne” concluded the function.
