INTER-CLUB MATCH.

BOAIBAY BEATS WAIMAI.

A very pleasant afternoon’s tennis was enjoyed on the Bombay lawn tennis courts recently, when a team of 12 women and 12 men from the Waimai Lawn Tennis Club, Auckland, met the Bombay players. The weather was ideal and a very happy afternoon was spent. The following are the results, Bombay names being mentioned first: —

AKA AKA CLUB. The opening of the Aka Aka Tennis Club's season was largely attended by members and visitors from other clubs. The ceremony was performed by the president, Mr D. R. Anderson, and the first ball was served by Mrs A. Wright. The club is reported to have enrolled a number of new members.
