Clothes Drive.
The Franklin Social Welfare League has decided to conduct a drive for clothing on June S. commencing at 8 a.in. Cars are being arranged by the Franklin Agent of the Automobile Association, Mr M. S. Campbell, while Mr 11. Curd has agreed to act as marshal. Schoolboys, it is understood, will he asked to accompany the car drivers, and to pick up parcels. It is expected that there will be a good response to the appeal for left off clothing, which will later be renovated and made up into garments for those in need throughout the district. Left off hoots are also required.
