St. Andrew’s Ladies’ Guild.

The vicar, the Rev. .T. P. Cowie, presided at the annual meeting of the St. Andrew’s Ladies’ Guild held recently. when there was a fair attendance. The "following officers were elected: President, Mrs W. Young; vice-presidents. Mesdames TT. Pell, seni'.. Raynor and G. R. Willis: secretary. Mrs W. Cronin: treasurer, Mrs G. R. Willis. Owing to ill-health Mrs .T. J. Hart, one of the few surviving foundation members of the guild, tendered her resignation which was accepted with regret. The meeting placed on record its deepest appreciation of toe practical services rendered by Mrs'Hart over a very long period of years. The chairman, on behalf of the parishioners, thanked the guild for its wonderful efforts in the past. Reference was made to Ihe work of the retiring president. Mrs M .0. Lawson, and the outgoing officers, and they were accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
