SATURDAY’S PLAY. INTERRUPTED BY RAIN. Play on the bowling greens in this district was interrupted bn Saturday afternoon by heavy rain. The greens soon became unplayable and play was abandoned for the day. In the match for the Northern Waikato Bowling Association’s challenge stars between Waiuku (holders) and Pukeko'nc (challengers) over half the game had been played when the rain came. At this stage the: holders were about, seven points in the lead. The game will replayed at a later date.
