First Sale of Year at Pukekohe.
FRIDAY’S OFFERING. j LITTLE DEMAND FOR DAIRIES. | BEEF REMAINS STEADY. j i The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, held its first stock and pig sale of tne year at Pukekohe on Friday j The company report that cattle came forward in average numbers. There was a small entry of dairy animals, for which there was little demand. Beef and boner cows met with steady competition, and values were well up to those at the close of last year.
