MAN FRACTURES ANKLE.
CAUGHT~BY A TREE. ACCIDENT AT PAPAKURA. A tree which was being cut down by Mr T. Tomlinson of Wood street, Papakura, on Saturday afternoon, fell and caught his ankle, in between the trunk and a rock. After freeing himself with some difficulty, Mr Tomlinson had to crawl a considerable distance in order to get help. He was attended by Dr. G. W. Lock and was subsequently removed to the Auckland hospital by the St. John ambulance.
