FARMERS' UNION MEETING

An address by Mr A. E. Robinson, similar to that delivered at Tuakau

last week, was given at Onewhero on Friday evening. There was an attendance of about -40 members of the Farmers' Union and women's division. The chairman of the Onewhero braneh, Mr H. Dyer, presided. The speaker was given an attentive hearing and at the conclusion of his remarks was accorded a vote of thanks.

Supper was served by the ladies, who, with the chairman, were given a vote of thanks.

The meeting of local branch of the union arranged for Monday was postponed until September.
