"OUTWARD BOUND"
A PLAY OF OUTSTANDING INTEREST PRESENTATION NEXT WEEK. "Outward Bound" which since its initial production in 1923, when it literally took London by storm, is at last being presented to local audiences. g The Little Theatre Society is to be commended on its choice which, if ambitious, is in the best traditions of such societies which are to foster and develop interest in the legitimate stage. It is of course a substantial fact that all good plays are made in England and in these days of Americanised drama it is refreshing to look forward to a production which, from start to finish, depends on the use of the jfc King's English for its dramatic effect. The play, while in no sense a war play, might have been born out of the spirit of speculation, so general among all who lived through those insane years of massacre which is expressed in the question, "Where are the dead?" Whatever the inspiration, the result is a play which stands • comparison with the efforts of the great masters of English drama. "Outward Bound" will be presented at the Strand Theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday next.
