DRURY v. HARBOUR BOARD

On Good Friday Auckland Harbour Board Cricket team met Drury at Drury Although the weather conditions were not perfect a very enjoyable and well fought out game resulted in a win for the visitors by 64 runs. Harbour Board occupied the crease, first and after the redoubtable Breese had been clean bowled first ball a good stand was made by Badeley and Martin. A vigorous display was given by A. Turner and F. Turner. Welch three for 54 and Brooks five for 45 shared the bowling honours foi Batting for Drury Welch 19 and A. Clarke 30 were the only batsmen to reach double figures. For : Harbour Board Mann 5 for 2U bowled exceedingly well. The scores were: — Harbour Board 144 Drury 80 DRURY v. HOWICK. The Ho wick team visited Drury on Easter Saturday and provided the home team with a win by runs. Drury batted first and score 161 mainly through A. Clarke- 41, Welch 58, and Totty 21. Cooper was the most successful bowler taking six wickets for 43 runs. Fob Howick only two mer. reached double figures, J. Fitzpatrick 40 and C. Litten, 23. A. Clarke, three for 22 and A.
