ft DRIVE" SLOWLY; PAST THE .SCHOOLS. The advisability of erecting signboards advising motorists to drive slowly past the school property was the subject of- a letter from the Pukekohe School Committee, read* at Monday*? meeting of the- Borough Council. . .The committee emphasised the danger of fast motor traffic, to the’ school children along Queen ’ Street. The Mayor moved and Cr J. P. Rae -seconded, that the engineer havJf’the necessary sign posts and boards erected. —Carried.
Cr Hamilton suggested that the Convent school be included, and the suggestion was agreed to.
