The ghastly, speed at which the American loan has ; vanished has seriously perturbed Britons, says the Soviet paper ‘ Ijvestia.’ If the American philanthropists behave so cruelly to their Anglo- , Saxon brothers, one can easily imagine the real character of such aid promised to other 1 countries, Having once fallen into the dollar trap, Britain may either be forced time and again to beg from the United States .cap in hand or tighten her belt and look longingly at its dominions, where it could get the goods without wasting dollars;
