AMERICA BANS RUSSIAN OIL SHIPMENTS.—On June 50 America banned the shipment of petroleum products to Russia, of which there has previously been a large export. The above picture shows the Russian freighter Suchan loading a cargo of 36,000 barrels of diesel fuel, part of which is seen stacked on the wharf. Two more Russian ships were reported to be racing towards California to load oil before the ban came into effect.
