Mornington. The Mornington Harrier Club crosscountry run held at Wingatui resulted in a win for W. Burrows in the senior group, with A. Jelley second, I. Davidson third, and R. K. Dowland fourth. Burrow's led from the start, and at the end of the first lap w r as clear of A. Jelley, with Davidson and Dowland next, and Tbornicroft, Sanders, and Jamieson close together. In the junior event A. Patton won a good race from W. Speale, with G. Hyslop third, M. Richards fourth, F. Rawley fifth, and A. McMillan sixth. Sealed handicap results were:—Senior: J. J. Everett 1, F. Sanders 2, A. With half the distance covered N. Arthur had a good lead from Cunningham and Forbes. Running freely he increased his lead to 170yds from Forbes, with D. Arthur about 400yds behind him.
