FLYING BOAT RETURNS
(Rec. 8 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 16. The Tasman Empire Airways flying boat, which left for Auckland this morning, was forced to return to Sydney after being in the air for seven hours. The flying boat encountered strong head wands, which at times reached gale force. The commander. Captain C. le Couty, said if he had continued the .flight to New' Zealand it would have meant a night landing.
