—Ministerial.— The Minister of Defence, the Hori. F. Jones, will arrive in Dunedin tomorrow morning by the Vickem Viking aircraft. He will stay in-th® city for a few days. - Mr L. V. Farthing, of Christchurch* a< returned serviceman of the Second World War, lias, been appointed sec-retary-manager of the i South Canterbury Returned Services’ Association Club at Timaru, in succession to Mr H. J". Demouth, who has resigned. ■ Mr Andersen Tyrer, organiser and conductor of the National Orchestra of the New Zealand Broadcasting. Service, accompanied by Mrs Tyrer, left Dunedin by air this morning for Wollingfon.
