WOMEN'S HOCKEY

ASSOCIATION'S ANNUAL MEETING There was a good attendance of delegates at t|ie annual meeting of the Otago Women’s Hockey Association. Mrs C. Sonntag was in the chair. It was decided that practices should start on April 12, the closing date of entries to be April 26, and the opening day May 3. The following grounds were allocated for practices on Saturday, April 12:—Otago, Oval 1; King’s, Oval 2; Momona, Oval 3; Dunedin, Oval 4; Wesley, Oval 5; Fern, Oval 6; Opoho, Logan Park. The following officers were elected: — Patron, Mr D. C. Cameron; president, Mrs C. Sonntag; active vice-presidents —Mesdames Quaid, Cursey, Sparrow; and Miss Warburton; honorary vicepresidents, 12 were elected; . life members, Miss M. Hill and Mrs R. Hudson ; executive committee Mrs Ives, Misses N. Smith, J Wills. E. Davidson, and N. Duncan; secondary- schools’ delegate, Miss D. Stinson; secretary and treasurer, Mrs C. Quaid.
