FLOOD VICTIMS
AUSTRALIA’S RESPONSE TO RELIEF APPEALS SYDNEY, April 2. One hundred tons of urgently-needed Red Cross supplies for flood victims in England will be taken from Sydney in the Orion, now in port. Another large load will be sent by the v lndian Enterprise, leaving on April 10. Appeals for relief funds are meeting with quick response in all centres. The Sydney fund is already over £23,000. A fund which was opened a few days ago by the Australian Red Cross Society aims at sending food and clothing to flood victims by the quickest means possible.
