MR BEVIN ON THE WAY
(ltec. 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, Mur. 4. Mr Ernest Bevin and his party left Victoria Station this morning on the first stage of their journey to Moscow. “ I am off iu good heart,’-’, said Mr Bevin before his departure. “ The French alliance is a good augury for the meeting, which I hope will produce the fabric for a lasting and permanent peace.”
