CONCORD FLOWER SHOW

The Concord Social Club held its annual autumn flower and vegetable show in the Concord School on Saturday. Although the number of entries was not so large as the. previous year’s, the quality of the entries was much higher. The following officiated as judges:—Mrs G. \H. Brownlee (cut flowers and decorative sections), Mesdantes. Geddes and Callender (industrial knitting and sewing), Mr C. A. Teschner (vegetable). Section winners: Mrs D. G. Stewart (cut flowers) ; Mrs Kindley, Mr T. Clarke, equal (decorative and floral) ; Miss J,. Boxall (children’s flowers); Mr L. Brinsden (children’s vegetables).; Mr 1). Steware (vegetable) ; Mrs Wilcocks (knitting and sewing).
