CRUELTY TALES DERIDED
TREATMENT OF ARRESTED JEWS
(Rec. 8 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 19. Official circles iu London received with the profoundest scepticism the Irgun Zvai Leumi allegations of cruelty by British soldiers against five Jews arrested in Palestine on December 29, three of whom are under sentence of death. Irgun Zvai Leumi alleged that the soldiers tortured four of the Jews and deliberately assassinated the fifth.
